Everything families ask most when getting started with First Student Academy.

You can begin by scheduling a free session using the calendar on this page. Our enrollment team will guide you through every step. Once you are ready to move forward, we will send you a registration document through PandaDoc to complete online. The process typically takes just two days from application to acceptance.
First Student Academy serves students in grades 6 through 12. Our fully online model is designed to support middle and high school students from anywhere in the world, with a personalized learning plan built specifically for each student.
The school day is five hours total. Families choose either a morning session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or an afternoon session from 12:45 PM to 3:45 PM. Three of those hours are live online instruction with a dedicated teacher in a small group of five or fewer students. The remaining two hours are structured independent work, including the student's own interests, a chosen project, or mastery-based practice.
First Student Academy is pursuing accreditation through Cognia, the same body that accredits thousands of public and private schools across the United States. Our diploma is designed to be recognized by colleges and universities on that basis. Once accreditation is finalized, we will update families accordingly.
We catch it immediately, not at the end of a semester. Your child's Academic Mentor schedules a focused, supportive Foundation Builder session to work through the gap directly. Your child retakes the assessment when ready, with no penalty for needing more time. Because every student works with the same dedicated mentor throughout their time at FSA, nothing falls through the cracks.
Tuition is $14,000 per year, plus a $1,000 annual enrollment and testing fee, for a total of $15,000. A monthly payment option is available. That covers all curriculum and materials, access to the FSA Learning Platform, live instruction in classes of five or fewer students, weekly one-on-one mentor sessions, and your student's personalized Growth Map, with no extra fees for materials or technology.
